Additionally, *Black Myth: Wukong* secured victory in the Best Action Game category, while *Metaphor: ReFantazio* walked away with honors for Best Narrative.

Last year's big winners, *Baldur’s Gate 3* and *Alan Wake 2*, cast a long shadow over this year’s event. *Alan Wake 2* had previously amassed three trophies, while *Baldur’s Gate 3* achieved six accolades, including the prestigious Game of the Year award.

This year's ceremony was particularly special as it celebrated a decade of The Game Awards, showcasing a plethora of star power and unexpected announcements.
