Alarmingly, 90% of respondents agreed that overall business productivity is closely tied to employee performance—stimulating calls for immediate action to address workplace stressors.

The survey, which was conducted online from August 12 to August 22 among 759 Canadian businesses, sheds light on the vulnerabilities that threaten the economic landscape. The findings call attention to the urgent need for strategies that promote employee well-being and enhance productivity in a world where inflationary pressures continue to mount.
