Weighing in at a healthy 9 pounds and 6 ounces, and measuring a remarkable 22.5 inches long, Jupiter is already turning heads in the hospital! The ecstatic parents, Marissa Chase and Brandan Evans, arrived at the hospital around 6 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, eager to welcome their third child.
Reflections from Parents
Marissa reflected on the labor experience, saying, 'It felt like it took forever, but dad says it went fast.' Interestingly, she noted that this labor was much shorter than the deliveries of her previous two children, which came as a pleasant surprise.
Brandan chimed in, expressing admiration for the team at WRH’s Family Birthing Unit, saying, 'The nurses are amazing. They’re always incredible here. They bring comfort and laughter during such a pivotal moment.' Their praise highlights the supportive environment that many families experience during childbirth.

The Chase-Evans family is thrilled to bring Jupiter home to meet his older siblings. 'Brother and sister can’t wait,' Brandan said with enthusiasm. 'It’s going to be great to have everyone at home, all comfortable and happy.' Little Jupiter is sure to be warmly welcomed by his 5-year-old brother and 2-year-old sister.
