Historic Fentanyl Bust in Kingston Shatters Local Drug Trafficking Networks

In a groundbreaking operation, Kingston, Ontario, police have announced the largest seizure of fentanyl in the city's history, marking a significant victory in the ongoing battle against dangerous drug trafficking. The operation led to the arrest of three individuals: a 62-year-old man, a 50-year-old man, and a 52-year-old woman, all residents of Kingston. They now face serious charges, including three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime. Each of them has been detained pending a bail hearing.

"The magnitude of this seizure, combined with several other recent investigations into fentanyl distribution, has significantly disrupted local drug trafficking networks," a police spokesperson stated in a press release.
