In a bold series of events, police in Halton Region are hot on the trail of two suspects implicated in two break-ins that targeted luxury cars in Oakville. The incidents are linked and occurred in the early hours of November 16, raising concerns among homeowners in the area.

Details of the Incidents

At approximately 4:10 a.m., the duo attempted to break into a residence located on Lakeshore Road but failed to gain entry. According to investigators, their primary aim was to snatch the keys to high-end vehicles parked on the property. Just a short while later, the criminals struck again at a house near Third Line and Rebecca Street, where they smashed a front window using a hammer.

Once inside, these brazen thieves successfully located the keys for a sleek Mercedes SUV parked in the driveway and sped off with it, leaving the residents unharmed and unaware of the drama unfolding around them.

The Pursuit

The audacity of these suspects did not end there; police later spotted the stolen Mercedes traveling in a high-speed chase alongside an Audi. Eyewitness reports described the two vehicles as racing through the streets, disregarding traffic signals and endangering public safety. The Audi was eventually abandoned by the suspects near Dorval Drive and Kerr Street, and it was subsequently identified as a stolen vehicle from the Peel Region.
