WestJet, Canada's second-largest airline, has announced new direct flights from Vancouver International Airport (YVR), set to launch in the spring of 2025 as part of its summer schedule. Get ready to jet off to two captivating destinations: Boston and Tampa!

Jet-Set to Boston!

Starting June 9, 2025, WestJet will offer daily nonstop flights to Boston Logan International Airport (BOS), with return flights available until October 13. Departing Vancouver at 9:40 a.m., travelers will arrive in the historic city by 6:10 p.m. The return leg will leave Boston at 6:55 p.m. and land back in Vancouver by 10:05 p.m. And the best part? Round-trip tickets are available for a steal, starting at just over $350!

A flight duration of approximately five-and-a-half hours makes this an ideal choice for those eager to soak in Boston’s rich history, sports culture, and delicious seafood. However, make sure to think ahead, as the lowest fare class—UltraBasic—comes with certain restrictions, such as no carry-on luggage included!

Fly to the Sunshine State!

On June 14, 2025, WestJet will also introduce nonstop flights to Tampa Bay International Airport (TPA), the first of its kind from a Canadian airline. This service will operate once a week on Saturdays, departing YVR at 9:20 a.m. and landing in Tampa at 5:43 p.m. Round-trip prices start at an incredible $344.14, making it a fantastic opportunity for those looking to enjoy Florida's gorgeous beaches and vibrant attractions.

Flights back to Vancouver will take about six hours and 15 minutes, giving travelers plenty of time to explore Florida's famous coastline before returning home.
