The excitement is building for the 2025 Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards, as the nominations were announced on Wednesday morning. Leading the pack is FX's critically acclaimed series *Shōgun*, which garnered a whopping five nominations. Hot on its heels are *The Bear* with four nominations and HBO's *The Penguin*, which received three nods. This year’s ceremony promises to be an incredible showcase of talent and entertainment.

In a move to prioritize safety given the wildfires and adverse weather conditions affecting the Los Angeles area, the traditional in-person announcement of nominees was canceled. Instead, the nominations were shared via a detailed press release.
