In a shocking turn of events, an Ontario religious educator has been charged with a disturbing series of sexual assaults involving two victims, igniting outrage and concern within the community.

According to York Regional Police, the 44-year-old instructor, who allegedly conducted religious classes in a residential area of Pickering, is accused of assaulting one victim six times during what he termed 'spiritual study sessions.' These sessions reportedly took place in both Pickering and nearby Markham.

The horrific incidents are said to have occurred between January 2021 and October of the previous year. However, the investigation revealed a second victim who was assaulted in December, further deepening the community's fears.
