The incident unfolded at approximately 10:15 a.m. at the busy intersection of Ness Avenue and Ferry Road, where witnesses reported a red Mitsubishi colliding with a light pole. Eyewitnesses say the driver and his companion hastily abandoned the wreck and fled the scene, making their escape westbound on Ness Avenue after requesting a ride-share vehicle.

Swift police action led to the apprehension of the duo just moments later at the corner of Ness and Olive Street. Authorities confirm that both individuals were taken into custody without resistance.
