"It clearly was a valuable piece," she said, recalling her initial heartbreak.

Thanks to the diligent eye of her security footage, McNutt was able to identify the thief almost immediately. "I dug a little deeper and actually watched as this person took the purse and tucked it inside another bag and left the store," she recounted. Her hope was simply that the notorious customer wouldn’t return.
