IRCC has adjusted fees across eight different application categories, affecting visitors, students, and workers who require temporary status in Canada. Here are the revised fees along with a comparison to the old rates:

1. Restoration of Temporary Resident Status

For individuals needing to restore their visitor, student, or worker status, fees have risen by 2.80% to 4.69%, depending on their specific situation.

2. Authorization to Return to Canada

Those who are deemed inadmissible and wish to re-enter will now face a 4.40% increase in fees, applicable to people with previous violations or removal orders.

3. Criminal Rehabilitation

Applications for criminal rehabilitation, which allow individuals with past criminal issues to legally enter Canada, have seen a fee increase of over 4%.

4. Temporary Resident Permit (TRP)
