HONG KONG — In a delightful celebration at Ocean Park on Monday, two charming five-year-old pandas, An An and Ke Ke, marked their first Christmas in Hong Kong.

The duo indulged in festive treats while captivating the attention of visitors and media alike.

An An, the spirited male panda, received a unique ice slab featuring the words “Merry Christmas” crafted from sweet potatoes and carrots.

Meanwhile, his female counterpart Ke Ke was treated to a whimsical snowman made of carrots and apples, making for an adorable photo opportunity during a special press event held before the park opened to the public.

Arrival in Hong Kong

The pandas arrived in Hong Kong in late September, part of an initiative to enhance tourism in the region.

After a two-month quarantine, they made their much-anticipated debut at Ocean Park, where they now join four other resident pandas.
