In an exciting announcement at the Prime Video Presents: Trailblazers event in London, Amazon has officially ordered a new series based on the hit drama ‘Reacher.’ This spinoff will spotlight Maria Sten reprising her beloved role as Frances Neagley, deeply expanding the 'Reacher' universe and its compelling narratives.

The spinoff, currently untitled but referred to as “Neagley,” was reportedly on a fast track for production after being included in Priority Fast-track projects. This comes after Deadline’s exclusive reveal last month that the series was nearing a green light.

Nick Santora, the executive producer and showrunner for the original ‘Reacher’ series, teams up again with Nicholas Wootton, known for his work on 'Prison Break,' to bring the new show to life. Together, these creative forces will also serve as executive producers alongside Lee Child, the author of the Reacher novels, bringing invaluable insight to the character's development.

Frances Neagley, a no-nonsense private investigator in Chicago and a former military colleague of Jack Reacher, finds herself on a perilous quest for justice after the suspicious death of a dear friend. Drawing from her experiences with Reacher and her past in the Army's 110th Special Investigations Unit, Neagley embarks on a thrilling journey, uncovering a sinister conspiracy.

Alan Ritchson, who portrays Jack Reacher, is expected to make a guest appearance in the spinoff, much to the delight of fans who are eager to see him and Neagley team up again.

Neagley first appeared in Season 1 of ‘Reacher,’ based on Lee Child's novel ‘The Killing Floor,’ despite her absence from the original story. She has since emerged as a significant character in Season 2, particularly prominent in the adaptation of ‘Bad Luck and Trouble,’ where she was a vital support to Reacher.

As the narrative unfolds in Season 3, which is based on Child's ‘Persuader,’ Reacher is on a mission to rescue an informant while confronting haunting foes from his past. This season is expected to set the stage for Neagley’s spinoff, piquing fan interest even further.
