Baldur’s Gate 3 has taken the gaming world by storm since its release, and now Wizards of the Coast is eager to keep the excitement alive for tabletop players! With Larian Studios wrapping up its work on the game, Wizards aims to bridge the digital and tabletop experiences.

To draw fans back into the rich world of Dungeons & Dragons, notable characters from Baldur’s Gate 3 have taken an active role in promoting the upcoming Virtual Tabletop project. This platform will allow players to incorporate beloved characters from the game into their own tabletop sessions, and the official character sheets are set to make gameplay smoother than ever!

But that’s not all! Wizards of the Coast and Wizkids have unveiled an impressive new line of miniatures based on Baldur’s Gate 3. The Icons of the Realm collection features 40 unique, pre-painted miniatures depicting a myriad of D&D creatures and characters. Each blind box contains four random miniatures, which include one large figure and three medium to small-sized ones. Fans can expect to see new designs for iconic characters like Minthara, the Drow Paladin, as well as various warrior archetypes, goblins, bugbears, and more! While there may not be a specific “bear” character, the options are limited only by your imagination!

Additionally, for those wanting a more curated experience, a separate boxed collection is being released, featuring seven miniatures of the main party from Baldur’s Gate 3. This set includes fan-favorites like Karlach, Astarion, Wyll, Lae’zel, Shadowheart, Gale, and Withers—the enigmatic undead figure known for his peculiar agenda.

Wizards of the Coast isn’t just pushing merchandise; they are listening to their audience. The resounding success of Baldur's Gate 3 indicates a significant demand for fresh storytelling within the expansive D&D universe. As the latest edition of the tabletop game begins to hit tables around the globe, Wizards is intent on keeping fans engaged and excited about new narratives, rather than only recycling existing stories.

Mark your calendars! The Baldur’s Gate 3 Icons of the Realm collection will launch in February 2025, with blind-box packs priced at $25 each or a bundle of eight for $200. The dedicated character collection will retail for $50, providing fans with even more ways to integrate their favorite characters into their adventures.

Ready to roll the dice on your next tabletop session? This new wave of Baldur's Gate-inspired products may be just what you need to elevate your gameplay and enrich your Dungeons & Dragons experience!
