This exciting event was announced by the chief executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region in 2023 as part of the Hong Kong Fashion Design Week, which is now slated to become an annual spectacle. Its mission? To reinforce Hong Kong’s status as a premier destination for culture and creativity within the fashion and textiles industry.
Organized by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and backed by the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency, Fashion Fest promises to unite an array of fashion events under one exciting banner. This endeavor reflects our city’s creative energy and its role as a bridge between regional and international fashion.”
The festival is designed around six core pillars, focusing on themes such as the celebration of diverse fashion curation, establishing Hong Kong as a thought leader in the industry, and embracing its rich cultural heritage. Moreover, it will act as a dynamic marketing platform to nurture emerging talents and connect them with global celebrities and icons.
