Excitement is building as Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao prepare to jointly host the highly anticipated 12th National Games for People with Disabilities and the 9th Special Olympics Games next year. This monumental occasion will showcase some of the most elite athletes, with Hong Kong taking center stage for key events.

To kick off the celebrations and enhance community involvement, the Hong Kong Paralympic Committee, in collaboration with the SAR Government, is proud to announce the largest disability sports experience day of the year, scheduled for December 8, 2024. This free event, running from 10 AM to 6 PM, promises to be a day filled with inspiration, education, and entertainment, open to everyone.

Participants will have the unique opportunity to engage in over 20 different types of disability sports, including thrilling demonstrations and hands-on trials that highlight the skills and resilience of athletes with disabilities. In addition, attendees can look forward to the Hong Kong Disability Sports Development Exhibition, athlete sharing sessions that provide personal insights, and a variety of other exhilarating activities.

This will not only be a chance to watch athletes showcase their talents but also a perfect opportunity for families and the public to experience the joy and camaraderie that comes from participating in disability sports.
