Digital Eclipse has officially announced an exciting lineup for the highly anticipated compilation, Tetris Forever. This marks the third installment in their 'Gold Master Series', following acclaimed releases like The Making of Karateka and Llamasoft: The Jeff Minter Story. These compilations are designed to not only provide players access to classic games but also enrich their experience with fascinating historical insights into the games' origins and development.

Tetris Forever promises to include more than 15 games, many of which have never been available outside of Japan, showcasing titles primarily from the Famicom, Super Famicom, and Game Boy. Additionally, players can expect a couple of lesser-known titles from the Apple II and the Soviet-era Electronika 60, marking a significant moment for retro gamers.

One of the most thrilling features of this compilation is the introduction of Tetris Warp. This innovative mechanic allows players to "warp" through different eras of Tetris history, dynamically altering visuals and gameplay elements in real-time. The debut trailer has already captivated fans, leading to speculation about what other surprising titles may be added shortly after launch.
