The former child star found himself in hot water due to allegations of public intoxication and possession of a controlled substance.

Osment admitted to using what he described as 'disgraceful language,' which included antisemitic remarks, while being detained. Speaking candidly to the New York Post, he stated, “I’m absolutely horrified by my behavior. Had I known I used this disgraceful language in the throes of a blackout, I would have spoken up sooner.”

The footage captured Osment unleashing a tirade, claiming, “I’ve been kidnapped by a f***ing Nazi,” at one point even hurling an offensive slur towards a police officer. He later acknowledged the pain his words could cause, saying, “What came out of my mouth was nonsensical garbage — I’ve let the Jewish community down and it devastates me.”

This incident comes on the heels of personal turmoil for Osment, who recently lost his home in a devastating wildfire in California. The actor's turbulent history includes a DUI and marijuana charge back in 2006, where he faced probation.
