With competition heating up, Air Canada and Cathay Pacific continue to offer nonstop flights, but they've set their prices sky-high—averaging around CAD 2,012 (HK$15,661) and CAD 1,706 (HK$13,281), respectively. In contrast, Hong Kong Airlines is stepping in with a jaw-dropping fare of just CAD 1,220 (HK$9,491) in January, making it the most budget-friendly option for savvy travelers!

In a significant turnaround, Hong Kong Airlines successfully restructured HK$49 billion in debts by securing approval from a federal court and their creditors.
