After her stint as a marketing director, Miller returned to Drury as an assistant coach before taking the head coach position at just 28 years old. Under her leadership, the Lopes reached the Division II Final Four in 2019, and she maintained an undefeated 32-0 season in the 2019-20 campaign.

Beyond the court, Miller balances her professional commitments with family life alongside her husband Derek. The couple shares a daughter, Crosby June, and a son, Cy Carter. Additionally, Miller has a strong legacy in high school basketball as she led Kickapoo High School to two state championships.
