Meanwhile, medical teams are diligently caring for 16 other stampede victims, with three individuals currently classified as being in critical condition. In light of this tragedy, the government has announced a compensation package of ₹2 lakh each for the 33 victims who have already been discharged from the hospital, along with assurances of safe transportation back to their residences.
