Tragedy Strikes Tibet: 126 Lives Lost in Catastrophic Earthquake, Rescue Operations Underway!

In a heart-wrenching turn of events, a powerful 6.8-magnitude earthquake rocked the Tibet region of China on Tuesday, resulting in the tragic loss of at least 126 lives. Eyewitness footage has revealed rescue workers diligently sifting through rubble, while supplies such as tents, food rations, and electrical generators began arriving by late Tuesday.

Tourist Meng Lingkang, who was in Lhatse—65 kilometers from the epicenter—described the landscape, stating, "The buildings had cracked open," highlighting the widespread destruction in the region.
