His daughter, Natasha, shared the heartbreaking news, revealing that he died peacefully at his home in Byron Bay, Australia, on March 14.

Eddie Phillips, a prominent figure in the fitness world, co-founded the highly acclaimed health and beauty chain, Phillip Wain, in Hong Kong in 1977, alongside his business partner Barry Wain. His vision for fitness in Asia didn't stop there, as he expanded his successful venture into other major cities, including Bangkok, Singapore, and Kuala Lumpur, making significant contributions to the wellness industry in Southeast Asia.

A Passion for Fitness and Family

Natasha reminisced about her father's dedication to family, often being present at her and her brother's school activities. In addition to his ventures in Hong Kong, where his then-wife Deborah was dubbed the 'Fitness and Aerobics Queen,' Phillips established a business empire in Australia that included Camp Eden Health Retreat and the Temple of the Body and Soul. He also invested in properties like Kirra Beach Hotel in Queensland and the luxury Pearl South Pacific Resort in Fiji.
