In a powerful show of solidarity, several hundred supporters marched through the streets of Dublin to stand by Nikita Hand, the woman who recently secured a significant civil victory against mixed martial arts star Conor McGregor. This gathering took place after a Dublin High Court jury found McGregor responsible for assaulting Hand by raping her in a hotel back in December 2018.

The court's ruling mandated McGregor to pay Hand nearly €250,000 (approximately £206,000) in damages—a landmark decision that has fueled advocacy for more substantial protections for victims of sexual violence.
