A2IM Unveils Early Bird Tickets for Historic Indie Week Australia Edition in Adelaide!

The American Association of Independent Music (A2IM) has officially launched early bird tickets for its inaugural Indie Week Australia Edition, set to take place from July 30 to August 1, 2025, in the vibrant city of Adelaide, South Australia.

This landmark event marks the first time in A2IM's two-decade history that their flagship conference will be hosted outside of the United States. The conference will be part of the annual Indie-Con Australia, organized by the Australian Independent Record Labels Association (AIR). The event is not just a conference; it’s a celebration of the independent music scene and aims to create a dynamic community where industry leaders can converge and share future-focused ideas.

"We are honored and excited to bring A2IM Indie Week’s first-ever international event to Adelaide, Australia’s UNESCO City of Music," stated A2IM general manager Lisa Hresko. This thrilling partnership with AIR, supported by the South Australian Government, was first unveiled during the 2024 AIR Awards and underscores the event’s ambition to be a global hub for independent music.

Attendees can look forward to a rich lineup of speakers and discussions focused on overcoming challenges and seizing opportunities in the music industry. While the full schedule of events is yet to be revealed, previous editions have featured renowned experts, independent artists, and company representatives worldwide. Last year's Indie-Con showcased over 80 speakers representing more than 50 organizations, highlighting the diverse voices within the independent music community.

The festivities kick off with the A2IM Indie Week on July 30, followed by the Indie-Con Australia Conference on July 31 and August 1, all taking place at the iconic Mercury Cinema in Adelaide. Not to be missed, the 2025 AIR Awards will add glamour to the gathering, taking place at the Adelaide Town Hall on July 31.
