This announcement came during a lively Hari Raya concert held at Our Tampines Hub.

Flanked by existing Tampines MPs, including Senior Minister of State Dr Koh Poh Koon and Mayor Desmond Choo, Mr. Masagos shared his enthusiasm for Mr. Neo's potential role in the political arena. Although the full line-up for the constituency remains unconfirmed, Masagos expressed optimism about finalizing the team soon.

The backdrop of this introduction is significant; former MP Cheng Li Hui recently stepped down due to a personal scandal involving an extramarital affair. Ms. Charlene Chen, introduced as a grassroots leader, is already engaging with residents in Ms. Cheng’s former Tampines East ward.
