In a strategic move to enhance its offerings, Garsite has officially introduced catering trucks to its ground support equipment (GSE) lineup. This addition aims to address the growing demands of the aviation industry, where efficient catering solutions are essential for smooth airport operations.

The newly launched catering truck is constructed on a robust Ford 750 Regular Cab chassis, featuring a powerful PTO-driven hydraulic pump. Notably, it is equipped with a 7,000-pound capacity scissor lift, advanced telescopic hydraulic cylinders, and an integrated control station for ease of operation. Garsite has also made it clear that customers looking for alternatives will have the option of choosing Freightliner and Navistar chassis, further increasing the versatility of their product.

Terry Bosserman Jr., Garsite's Chief Commercial Officer, commented on the expansion, stating, “We have been steadily broadening our line of ground service equipment to meet the evolving needs of our industry. With the addition of our catering truck, we are positioning ourselves as a prominent provider of GSE solutions.”

At the heart of the new catering truck's design is a 16-foot insulated van body, carefully crafted to maintain food quality during transport. It features optional refrigeration capabilities to ensure culinary offerings remain fresh and vibrant. Additionally, the truck sports a customizable forward service platform that can be tailored in various configurations—fixed, two-way, or four-way—allowing for maximum operational flexibility.

Safety and efficiency are paramount in Garsite’s design ethos. To this end, the catering truck includes a modern camera system complemented by LCD displays for improved visibility during operations. Customers can also choose from alternate platforms like a narrow body door option and a spacious 21-foot frame, enhancing the truck's practicality in busy airport environments.

As Garsite makes this significant addition to their portfolio, the company is poised to strengthen its position in the aviation support market, catering to the needs of airlines and caterers eager for dependable, high-quality service equipment. The integration of such innovative technology signals a promising future for Garsite and its partners. Stay tuned for more updates on their latest offerings!
