A Historic Return to Physical Rallies!

SINGAPORE: Get ready for a political showdown! The first five rallies for the highly anticipated GE2025 have officially been approved and are set to electrify the night on April 24, a significant moment as these will be the first physical rallies seen in Singapore since 2015.

Who’s Taking the Stage?

The spotlight will be shared among major political players, including the People’s Power Party (PPP), Progress Singapore Party (PSP), People’s Action Party (PAP), Workers’ Party (WP), and the Singapore Democratic Party (SDP). Each party is eager to showcase their visions and policies in person.

Key Details and Locations!

Permits have already been issued for these energetic gatherings, scheduled to unfold between 7pm and 10pm. Expect lively discussions and spirited debates as parties rally their supporters across various venues.

In the Marsiling-Yew Tee GRC, rallies from the PAP and SDP will be particularly noteworthy. Prime Minister Lawrence Wong will lead the PAP at Woodlands Stadium, joined by notable figures including Senior Minister of State Zaqy Mohamad.

The SDP will be taking the stage at Choa Chu Kang Stadium for an exhilarating rematch against the PAP, featuring a lineup that includes their organizing secretary, Jufri Salim, and vibrant new voices like Ariffin Sha.

A Battle of Ideologies!

The PPP is gearing up to engage voters in the Tampines GRC at Temasek Junior College, in what promises to be a four-way contest that includes the PAP, WP, and National Solidarity Party (NSP). Catch party chief Goh Meng Seng and his dynamic team as they outline their vision for the future.

The PSP, with candidate Jeffrey Khoo contesting in Marymount SMC, will also host a rally at Catholic High School, inviting not just local residents but supporters from across Singapore.

Additionally, the WP will host their rally in Sengkang GRC, aiming to connect with constituents next to the scenic Vales condominium. Their lineup features notable figures like He Ting Ru and Louis Chua.

Prepare for a Night to Remember!

With large crowds anticipated, the police advise attendees to use public transport and be prepared for security checks in and around rally venues. Important: avoid bringing large bags and refrain from carrying any items that could pose a danger.

As the countdown begins, Singapore is poised for an unforgettable night of political engagement—don't miss it!
