In a shocking turn of events, the Saigon Jewelry Company has reported a staggering 4.2% drop in the price of its gold bars, bringing them down to VND 115 million (approximately $4,445.31) per tael. For those unfamiliar, a tael weighs about 37.5 grams or 1.2 ounces.

Not just bars; gold rings have also seen a decline, decreasing by 0.85% to VND 116 million per tael.

On the global stage, spot gold has fallen by 0.44%, now sitting at $3,327.00 per ounce.
