Attention All Students and Parents!

Big news, Singapore! On May 5, get ready for a day of relaxation because schools across the nation will be closed. This exciting announcement applies to all primary and secondary schools, junior colleges, the Millennia Institute, and MOE Kindergartens.

Why the Closure?

The Ministry of Education (MOE) declared May 5 a school holiday following Polling Day for the general election on May 3. With Polling Day falling on a Saturday this year, MOE has designated the following Monday as a day off-in-lieu for all MOE school staff.

Classes Resuming!

Classes will kick off again on May 6, but until then, students can enjoy a much-deserved break. Parents, make sure to plan some fun activities to keep the kids entertained!

Election Excitement!

This year, with the general election heating up, it's an ideal time for families to engage in discussions about the political landscape while enjoying the long weekend. So, mark your calendars and get ready for a blend of relaxation and civic awareness!
