Pema is a bright spark in the BinarX programme at Curtin University, where she’s contributing to a groundbreaking scientific payload set to orbit Earth in a CubeSat—an innovative, compact satellite measuring just 10 cm on each side.

Balancing school life at Balcatta Senior High School, she’s not just another student; she’s one of the youngest minds diving into aerospace technology, working alongside seasoned researchers and engineers.

Tracking Data and Reaching New Heights

Upon its launch, expected by year’s end, the CubeSat will transmit vital data about Earth and the space environment.

Pema is eagerly anticipating the launch, saying, "To see our year-long work orbiting Earth feels just like a dream."
