**SINGAPORE** - Excitement and tension are building as students gear up for the release of the much-anticipated results of the Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education (GCE) N-level examinations on December 16 at 2 PM. This announcement, made by the Ministry of Education (MOE) and the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board (SEAB) on December 9, marks a pivotal moment for students across the country.

How to Collect Your Results

School candidates will receive their results directly from their respective secondary schools, so it's crucial for students to keep an eye out for notifications from them regarding the collection process. Those unable to collect their results in person may appoint a proxy, but they should contact their schools in advance to arrange this. The appointed proxy will need to bring identification and relevant paperwork for verification.

For private candidates, results will be available online through the SEAB candidates portal from 2:45 PM on December 16 until 11 PM on December 30. Students will need their SingPass accounts to log in; however, an alternative login option will be accessible using the registration account.

Important Deadlines for Further Education Applications

Students aiming to pursue courses at the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) can apply via the ITE portal between 2:30 PM on December 16 and 5 PM on December 19. Those seeking a more traditional form can collect physical application forms from the Customer and Visitor Centres at the three ITE colleges, but an appointment is mandatory.

For candidates interested in the Aptitude-Based Admissions, further interview details will be available on the ITE portal starting at 2 PM on December 20. This pathway recognizes students with exceptional abilities or interests in specific fields related to ITE courses.

More Than Just Results

The ITE posting results will be revealed at 9 AM on December 30, and candidates will need to respond to any offers by 11:59 PM on January 3. Additionally, those considering the Direct-Entry-Scheme to Polytechnic Programme (DPP) can apply between 2:30 PM on December 16 and 5 PM on December 19, allowing for smoother transitions into selected polytechnic diploma courses after a Higher Nitec course.

The results of the DPP applications will be available from 2 PM on December 20, giving students just a short window to confirm offers before the deadline of 11:59 PM on December 26.

Looking Ahead to Foundation Opportunities

For students interested in the Polytechnic Foundation Programme (PFP), applications will commence in January, coinciding with the release of GCE O-level results. Eligible Secondary 4 Normal (Academic) students will be invited to apply for this program, aimed at easing their path to polytechnic education.

As always, if students need guidance or support, they are encouraged to consult their school's teachers and counselors or make appointments at the Education and Career Guidance Centre @ MOE between December 9 and 24. This center will be fully operational on weekdays from 9 AM to 5 PM and on Saturdays from 9 AM to 12 PM.

The Countdown Begins

With just days to go until the N-level results are released, students are urged to stay informed, prepare adequately, and seize the opportunities that lie ahead. This is just the beginning of an exciting academic journey!
