Milan, October 7, 2024 – Pirelli has taken a monumental step in enhancing the performance of Ferrari supercars by introducing the new Cinturato P7 tyres, specifically developed for the legendary Ferrari GTO. This cutting-edge tyre made its grand entrance during the GTO Legacy Tour 2024, perfectly timed to celebrate the model's 40th anniversary. The event saw GTO owners traverse the breathtaking Dolomite Mountains to Ferrari's home in Maranello, marking a significant occasion in the world of automotive excellence.

The Cinturato P7, which falls under Pirelli’s bespoke Collezione range, combines timeless aesthetics with state-of-the-art technology. Originally conceived for the World Rally Championship in 1974, the Cinturato P7 revolutionized tyre design with its ultra-low profile, delivering superior cornering grip and safety. The tyre is produced in its original specifications (225/50 R16 at the front and 265/50 R16 at the back), allowing modern Ferrari enthusiasts to experience a piece of history while enjoying enhanced performance through modern advancements.

Not stopping with the GTO, Pirelli's partnership with Ferrari stretches across several iconic models. Most recently, the Ferrari Enzo has benefitted from the latest advancements in tyre technology, receiving a new P Zero Corsa System tyre specifically designed for it. Sized 245/35 R19 at the front and 345/35 R19 at the rear, this tyre is the perfect marriage of performance and safety, developed in conjunction with Ferrari's dedicated test drivers.
