Samsung to Launch Redesigned Good Lock with One UI 7 on a Global Scale!
In an exciting move that has many Samsung Galaxy users buzzing with anticipation, Samsung is set to launch its popular customization tool, Good Lock, to a worldwide audience. Previously limited to select regions and only accessible through the Galaxy Store, Good Lock will now make its debut on the Google Play Store alongside the upcoming One UI 7 in 2025.
Good Lock has long been a favorite among Samsung enthusiasts, enabling deep and flexible customizations to One UI without requiring root access or complicated modifications. Users can tweak everything from the Samsung launcher to utilizing apps on the Galaxy Z Flip’s cover display, effectively addressing many limitations presented by Samsung's Android interface.
Samsung recently confirmed this major expansion in a company forum, stating that, "Good Lock in One UI 7 can be used in all countries." This change is aimed at enhancing accessibility, as the app will be available through the Google Play Store, which many users find more convenient than the Galaxy Store.
Along with this significant shift, Samsung is redesigning the Good Lock app itself to provide a more user-friendly experience. The new interface will feature enhanced navigation with a dedicated "My Page" tab for easy management of various Good Lock apps, as well as filters to help users find specific functionalities more efficiently. The company also indicated that many Good Lock apps, currently incompatible with One UI 7, will receive timely updates to ensure a smoother user experience.
Currently, One UI 7—Samsung's Android 15 update—is in beta testing on the Galaxy S24 series, with a full rollout expected for the Galaxy S25 series later in January. This dual launch strategy marks a new era of customization for Samsung users, giving them greater control over their devices.
Additionally, rumors abound regarding other enhancements in One UI 7, such as the ability to disable overly bright HDR content across all apps, making it more user-friendly than ever before.
Stay tuned as Samsung prepares for a game-changing release that promises to elevate the customization experience for millions of Galaxy users globally!
