The excitement is palpable for LOONA’s Chuu as she gears up for the release of her third mini album under ATRP. However, the anticipation has quickly turned into controversy over her latest teaser photos.

On April 13, Chuu shared ethereal teaser images on her solo X (formerly Twitter) account, only to have sharp-eyed fans draw striking connections between these visuals and a popular fan edit of fellow LOONA member Gowon.

Chuu’s enchanting concept features celestial elements, including constellation-shaped wings and an angelic silhouette that closely resemble a well-known fan creation. This resemblance has ignited a firestorm online, with many fans holding ATRP accountable.

Initial speculation suggested that the agency may have engaged the original artist of the Gowon edit. However, this assumption was quickly debunked when the artist came forward, posting: "I made this!!!! No, I did not get hired, and No, I did not get paid… This edit has been stolen and copied multiple times. I’m immune to it… It’s okay, guys."

The artist's calm demeanor has only fueled further outrage among fans, many expressing disappointment that ATRP seemingly reused a fan's creative work without any acknowledgment or permission. Supporters rallied around the artist, wishing the agency had chosen to hire them instead.

To date, ATRP has remained silent on the issue, leaving fans eagerly awaiting a response and questioning the integrity of the agency's creative decisions.
