Shocking Theft at Pasir Ris Car Wash: Man's Supplies Vanish Just Before Hari Raya!

Nasrul, the unfortunate Stomper who shared his story with Stomp, recounted how he was completing his routine car wash at Block 527D Pasir Ris Street 51 around 4:30 a.m. With the washing bay conveniently located near his lift lobby, Nasrul had left his cleaning supplies—including towels, buckets, and car shampoo—nearby, intending to retrieve them after parking his freshly cleaned car.

Things took an ominous turn when Nasrul noticed a blue Honda Fit also roaming the carpark. Initially, he assumed the driver was merely preparing for last-minute Hari Raya visits, carnival-like excitement dulled by an enormous wave of disappointment when he returned to collect his things, only to find the Honda Fit long gone, along with his vital washing tools.

Dashcam footage, captured during the bizarre incident, revealed that his car shampoo was still present until the Honda Fit entered the washing bay. “I checked using my high beam to confirm the shampoo was still there before the other car arrived,” said Nasrul. He even laid his blue drying towel atop the shampoo for safekeeping.

Out of concern for the other driver, he decided against leaving his items lying around. However, upon circling the area in search of parking, he changed course and returned to collect his belongings—only to find them missing.

“Talk about a negative way to kick off my Hari Raya celebrations…” Nasrul expressed his frustration, emphasizing the emotional toll of such an unexpected theft on a day meant for joy and family gatherings.
