SINGAPORE: A gripping trial has commenced as Nguyen Ngoc Giau, a 43-year-old woman, faces serious charges for allegedly murdering her 51-year-old boyfriend, Cho Wang Keung, in a harrowing incident that occurred nearly four years ago on July 15, 2021, outside their residence at Blk 562 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3.

What Led to the Horrifying Confrontation?

Nguyen, originally from Vietnam and a permanent resident in Singapore, moved into Mr. Cho's three-room flat in July 2020 as a tenant. Initially sleeping in the living room, the two soon became romantically involved, moving in together by October of that year.
