SpaceX is gearing up for an exciting finale to its 2024 launch schedule, set to take place on New Year’s Eve! A Falcon 9 rocket, carrying an impressive payload of 21 Starlink broadband internet satellites, will launch from NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Tuesday, December 31. This significant event is scheduled to commence at 12:34 a.m. EST (0534 GMT), with a launch window lasting for one hour.

Record-Breaking Year for SpaceX

This mission marks SpaceX's 134th Falcon flight in 2024, a record-breaking year that exceeds last year’s total by 38 missions! A staggering 89 of those launches have been focused on expanding SpaceX's expansive Starlink global satellite network, showcasing the company's commitment to enhancing global internet access.

Rapid Launch Schedule

In an impressive show of efficiency, this launch is part of a rapid schedule, being the third Falcon 9 launch in just three days. It follows a Starlink mission from California and another launch supporting Astranis from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.
