The story follows siblings Angelo and Mutya, who confront the challenges and emotional struggles that arise when their father embarks on a long journey aboard a cargo ship. As the narrative unfolds, readers witness Angelo grappling with the dismay of his father missing his birthday, while little Mutya dreams of a magical blue whale that transports her to see her father at work.
