Last weekend, Jenn, 32, took to Instagram to share their quirky adventure. Despite her initial confusion about rugby—describing it humorously as “like football, but with hands and some butt-touching”—she made a hilarious deal with Jon. The 33-year-old rugby fanatic and UK-born, Malaysian-raised singer-songwriter hadn’t attended the tournament in 15 years and was eager to introduce his wife to the thrilling atmosphere.

Jenn finally agreed to join Jon at the spectacle, but only if they could channel one of Hong Kong’s most iconic couples—Bao Zou Po and Bao Zou Gong! Inspired by the chain-smoking landlady character from *Kung Fu Hustle*, the couple dressed in full character attire, making quite an impression.

Fun fact: Jenn is such a huge fan of Stephen Chow that she got the chance to dine with the legendary actor in Hong Kong earlier this year!

Dressed for the occasion, while Jon sported hair clips and pajamas after shaving off his beard, Jenn alluringly donned a white nightgown paired with hair rollers and even dangled a faux cigarette from her lips to complete her look.

Although Jon found it “so embarrassing,” Jenn reveled in the comedic delight of their costumes, stating, “It was [so] funny!” Jon added with a chuckle, “The good thing is, a lot of people were dressing up too, so I felt weirdly accepted.”
