Before diving into this adventure, it's essential to ensure you meet the minimum requirements. Players have reported being able to initiate this quest once they reach Hunter Rank 24, ideally after completing the main story quests and unlocking High Rank gameplay. Don't forget to apply the **Title Update 1 patch** to keep your game running smoothly; simply restarting your platform may be necessary if updates haven't automatically applied.

How to Kickoff the Quest

Head over to speak with Alma, who will express her distress over her lost special glasses. To start your investigation, you’ll need to converse with several Wudwud in the **Scarlet Forest** area. Follow the green quest marker on your map, directing you to a Wudwud named Scampshroom, located in Area 2 of the Scarlet Forest.

Finding the Glasses-Wearing Wudwud

As you navigate through the narrow paths, keep a lookout for a Wudwud that is digging in a dimly lit alcove near an amber deposit. Although it may not be easily visible at first, approach it to trigger a cutscene that reveals it has Alma's missing glasses. But there’s a twist—it promptly scurries away!

Gathering Clues and Preparing for Nighttime

Return to the Wudwud Hideout where Thunk, the Wudwud at the entrance, will guide you to revisit the area at night during a time of “plenty.” To proceed, head inside one of the tents to rest and be sure to adjust the environment to “plenty” and set the time to “nighttime” for 500 Guild Points. This step is crucial to advance the quest!

Climbing Higher to Find Celebration and Clues

Your next objective involves scaling some vines that lead to a festive gathering of Wudwud celebrating around a large bonfire. Speak with at least four of them, and you will learn that Ayejack, the Wudwud responsible for taking Alma's glasses, is currently sleeping nearby.

Locating Ayejack and Completing the Quest

Make your way back down to the main Hideout area. Ayejack can be found nestled in a cozy bed made of vines and leaves, hidden from plain sight. Gently wake Ayejack, and he’ll ask for **Eastern honey** in trade for the glasses. If you need to gather this ingredient, look for **giant vigorwasps** in the Scarlet Forest.

Once you’ve collected the Eastern honey, return to Ayejack, and he will relinquish the glasses in exchange. Upon returning the glasses to Alma, you'll unlock the ability to customize her appearance in your tent!
