Behind the Rankings: How QS Evaluates Universities

QS is one of the premier global university ranking organizations, alongside Times Higher Education and the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU). It evaluates around 1,700 universities from over 100 countries and territories, utilizing five key criteria, with academic reputation holding the lion's share of the weight (40-50%). Additional factors include employer reputation, average citations per paper, the H-index for research impact, and an International Research Network (IRN) index for collaboration effectiveness.
