The first incident was recorded by a local motorist, Nazir, who filmed a GetGo car situated at a U-turn underneath the famous Changi Airport control tower on December 1 at 10:36 PM. In the video, a Traffic Police officer is seen arriving on a motorcycle, quickly dismounting to address the situation.

Nazir raised a pressing question about the competency of car-sharing service users: "Should these car-sharing apps even be allowed on Singapore roads if their users can’t even read basic road markings right in front of them?" His rhetorical plea underscores fears about the qualifications of drivers who operate under these services.

He expressed hope that the officer took down the driver’s details to report to the Traffic Police, stressing that such dangerous driving must be dealt with swiftly. "This driver needs to be off the roads ASAP to prevent any potential tragedy—improper turns could lead to fatal accidents," he cautioned.

Second Incident: Toyota Noah in Hougang

Another shocking incident occurred just a day earlier, on November 30, when Stomper Ed recorded a white Toyota Noah turning the wrong way at Lorong Ah Soo in Hougang during the early hours. Ed explained, “The driver turned right from Hougang Street 11 near The Minton condominium into Lorong Ah Soo.” Following the encounter, Ed took the responsible step of filing a police report.
