Furthermore, northwestern Pennsylvania and northeastern Ohio are preparing for potentially drastic snowfall, threatening to leave some communities completely isolated.

Travel is expected to be extremely hazardous, with officials issuing warnings about significantly reduced visibility and grounded road conditions across multiple states. Reports have already emerged of state police in Pennsylvania rescuing motorists trapped in snowdrifts.
