This initiative aims to enhance access to vital health services in Nova Scotia, particularly for COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations, as well as testing for eligible individuals.

What to Expect at the Clinics:

The PHMU will offer a range of vaccines, including COVID-19 and influenza shots, with some clinics also providing pneumococcal vaccines. Depending on the location, you may be able to secure a booked appointment or participate in drop-in sessions. Here’s a sneak peek at the upcoming clinics:

1. Zatsman Sportsplex

📍 110 Wyse Rd., Dartmouth 🗓️ Sunday, Dec. 15 from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. 🎯 Services: COVID-19 and influenza vaccines, tests, and pneumococcal vaccines. 💡 Note: Drop-in only, no appointment needed!

2. Mic Mac Mall

📍 21 Micmac Blvd., Dartmouth 🗓️ Tuesday, Dec. from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. 🎯 Services: COVID-19 and influenza vaccines, tests, and pneumococcal vaccines. 💡 Note: Booked appointments are recommended; limited drop-ins available.

Eligibility & Accessibility:

Vaccines and testing services are free for all eligible individuals. Be sure to bring your health card if you have one! Dress appropriately as you may need to wait outside, and remember that adverse weather conditions could lead to cancellations.

Mask Mandate:

As part of the safety protocols, masks are required within the Public Health Mobile Unit clinics. Don't worry if you don’t have one; a mask will be provided for you upon arrival.
