Anticipation is growing as a potential prototype surfaced in October, hinting at features powered by the highly anticipated Intel Lunar Lake chips. These upcoming devices will be equipped with Copilot Plus capabilities, promising AI-assisted functionality akin to what we have seen in the current Snapdragon models.

This refresh marks a pivotal change, considering Microsoft did not previously extend Copilot features to the Surface Pro 10 and Surface Laptop 6, which instead had Intel Meteor Lake chips that lacked the requisite NPU performance. As for the new models, rumor has it they will come with anti-reflective screen coatings to enhance user experience. Moreover, the Surface Laptop may diversify further with the addition of a card reader and 5G connectivity options, allowing for greater versatility whether at home or on the go.
