The distressing event took place yesterday at approximately 9:25 a.m. Emergency services, including RCMP officers, fire units, and Emergency Health Services (EHS), rushed to the scene following reports of a vehicle collision on Highway 103, near Exit 5.

Authorities discovered a Toyota Matrix that had veered off the westbound lane and into a ditch. Sadly, the driver, a 47-year-old woman from Dalhousie Junction, New Brunswick, was pronounced dead at the scene, leaving the community in shock.
