Demi Moore has bravely shared insights into her ex-husband Bruce Willis' ongoing health challenges as he battles frontotemporal dementia (FTD). Speaking at the 2024 Hamptons International Film Festival, the actress, 61, described Willis, 69, as being "stable" during these difficult times.

During a heartfelt conversation with HIFF Advisory Board member Alina Cho, Moore emphasized the importance of acceptance in the face of such a relentless diagnosis. "You know, I’ve said this before. The disease is what the disease is. And I think you have to be in real deep acceptance of what that is," Moore stated. She reassured everyone about Willis' condition, adding, "But for where he’s at, he is stable."

The couple shares three daughters—Rumer, 36, Scout, 33, and Tallulah, 30. Moore offered wisdom to others navigating similar situations, urging caregivers to embrace the reality of their loved ones' conditions. "What I always encourage is to just meet them where they’re at," she said. "When you’re holding on to what was, I think it’s a losing game. But when you show up to meet them where they’re at, there is great beauty and sweetness."

Just days ago, Moore visited Willis, bringing along Rumer’s young daughter, Louetta, to spend cherished time together. "And being able to share with whatever we have, for however long we have it," she reflected.

In previous discussions, Tallulah Willis also touched upon her father's condition. Appearing on The Drew Barrymore Show, she shared that he is indeed in a stable place. She spoke candidly about her hopes for him and her deep emotional connection, expressing that she sees parts of him within herself. "I have hopes for my father that I’m so reluctant to let go of," Tallulah wrote in a touching piece for Vogue. "I’ve always recognized elements of his personality in me, and I just know that we’d be such good friends if only there were more time."

During her segment with Hoda Kotb on Today, Tallulah confirmed, "He’s stable which, in this situation, is good. It’s hard. There are painful days but there’s so much love. And it’s really shown me to not take any moment for granted. I think he’s very proud of me."

Bruce Willis' family, including his wife Emma Heming Willis, publicly announced his frontotemporal dementia diagnosis in February 2023, a condition that profoundly affects communication abilities.

To stay connected with Bruce during this challenging journey, Tallulah often shares nostalgic moments on social media, recently posting throwback pictures with her father. She expressed her love and gratitude for their relationship, remarking, "Hey, I love this guy so much and feeling feelings is tough stuff, but I’m so grateful to let them flow through me now instead of disconnecting from it!"

As the Willis family faces this emotional battle together, Demi Moore's candidness offers a glimpse into the resilience and love that can flourish even in the toughest of times.
