On Wednesday, Feeding America expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Taylor Swift for her remarkable $5 million donation designated for hurricane relief efforts affecting Florida, the Carolinas, Georgia, and Tennessee. This generous contribution comes as Hurricane Milton, a Category 3 storm, endangered countless lives and properties in the region.

Adding to the wave of generosity, country music legend Dolly Parton also contributed a substantial $1 million to the Mountain Ways initiative, which is focused on delivering immediate relief to the East Tennessee, Western North Carolina, and Appalachian regions. In her emotional statement, she shared, “I am totally with you because I am part of you. I have a lot of my own relatives that live here, and when we heard about this it was devastating—not just because it was my family, but because all these people feel like my people.
