This year, the voting will be led by a strikingly lifelike MetaHuman version of the beloved host, Geoff Keighley, taking fan engagement to new heights.

Voting Experience in Fortnite

After the success of last year's inaugural in-game voting, the Game Awards are gearing up for the 2024 show, which will allow players to cast their votes for the best Fortnite island of the year. This year’s event is called "The Game Awards Vote in Fortnite," promising an innovative hub world that transports gamers to ten creator-crafted islands.

Exploring the Islands

These islands not only highlight the immense creativity and potential within the Fortnite universe but also serve as the battlegrounds for fan favorites. Upon exploring the selected islands, players will have the opportunity to vote in-game for their preferred creation as part of a unique fan poll.

Voting Details

The winner of this fan poll will be revealed during the live-streamed event from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on December 12, 2024. Players should note that voting is restricted to one vote per Epic ID and will close at 6 PM PT on December 11.
